pgAdmin4 stopped working after latest upgrade Ubuntu 16.04. 'Request' object has no attribute 'is_json'

Trending 4 years ago

pgadmin4 is moving perfectly earlier nan strategy update of ubuntu 16.04 I didn't really cheque what are those updates.

But aft nan update and I tried moving pgAdmin, it boots up and shows nan pgAdmin loading screen. Then it loads for a agelong while and yet gives maine nan error:

The exertion server could not beryllium contacted.

I checked nan pgAdmin4 logs and it gives me:

AttributeError: 'Request' entity has nary property 'is_json' 2020-05-18 16:08:46,684: ERROR pgadmin: 'Request' entity has nary property 'is_json' Traceback (most caller telephone last): File "/usr/lib/python3/dist-packages/flask/", statement 1473, successful full_dispatch_request rv = self.preprocess_request() File "/usr/lib/python3/dist-packages/flask/", statement 1666, successful preprocess_request rv = func() File "/usr/lib/python3/dist-packages/", statement 477, successful _on_before_request personality = loader() File "/usr/lib/python3/dist-packages/flask_security/", statement 515, successful _identity_loader if not isinstance(current_user._get_current_object(), AnonymousUserMixin): File "/usr/lib/python3/dist-packages/werkzeug/", statement 307, successful _get_current_object return self.__local() File "/usr/lib/python3/dist-packages/flask_login/", statement 26, successful <lambda> current_user = LocalProxy(lambda: _get_user()) File "/usr/lib/python3/dist-packages/flask_login/", statement 302, successful _get_user current_app.login_manager._load_user() File "/usr/lib/python3/dist-packages/flask_login/", statement 313, successful _load_user return self._load_from_request(request) File "/usr/lib/python3/dist-packages/flask_login/", statement 370, successful _load_from_request personification = self.request_callback(request) File "/usr/lib/python3/dist-packages/flask_security/", statement 475, successful _request_loader if request.is_json: File "/usr/lib/python3/dist-packages/werkzeug/", statement 348, successful __getattr__ return getattr(self._get_current_object(), name) AttributeError: 'Request' entity has nary property 'is_json'

I already tried searching for it, but I americium not a python guy. My conjecture is python type incompatibility. I saw a erstwhile mobility astir this 4 days ago. And it was deleted. I americium not judge why.

Note: There is nary config changes aliases anything.

EDIT (thanks to @Des Magner comment): This bug is already being tracked by PostgreSQL squad
