For linux (Ubuntu, Debian, etc), different desktop environments costs different amounts of resources (RAM). Gnome and KDE thin to costs much RAM than others for illustration XFCE / LXDE / LXQT.

I americium wondering if I don't login nan GUI of nan desktop environment, and only usage ssh to link to nan OS, are nan RAM usages by these desktop environments still different?

For example, I person a Debian Gnome and a Debian XFCE. After turning connected nan 2 machines, I only usage SSH to log in. Do they usage nan aforesaid magnitude of RAM?
